Time with Daffney

Where it ends up we will never know.

This time around I think it went better. I did not put my work off to last minute. I looked at the material and decided on my visual assignments. Unfortunately choosing four assignments that are in my capability proved to be an issue when I belatedly realized that I did not have enough stars, so I added on to my plate an extra visual assignment. Even then it was more relaxing.

I think my greatest struggle here was deciding on how to make the instructions on photo manipulations. I had spread myself thin as it was and given the time constraints I did not think I would be able to complete a video in the time. Settling for typed instructions with pictures was my best option but not one I preferred. I want to make a movie, I know I can. It may not be the best quality or in any shape or form amazing but it is a skill to show. I also struggled when picking out the assignments to do since the higher the amount of stars the higher the difficulty. I had to be careful with not biting off more than I could chew. Note to self if the assignment requires a story it will also take a larger chunk of time, I am no good when it comes to finding the words to put down.

Oddly one of my favorite parts of this assignment was making the categories. It wasn’t in the menu option and took me a little while to find it, but I was ecstatic when I figured it out. The reason I say oddly is because as seen in my collage I am not an organized person. I live in what I call organized mess. To be able to make categories and sub-categories which then translated to drop down menus made me feel like a new technological master! The photoblitz and the lessons on how to be a better photographer were also intriguing. The information provided seemed so simple but when applied elevated my photos in ways I had not thought of. Though I did look like those funny photos of Asian men doing weird poses while take pictures.
